Professional Speaker and Author, Dr. Pamela Gurley is the Founder/CEO of Clark and Hill Enterprise, Founder/CEO of IAMDRPGURLEY; Founder/CEO of Un@pologeticbyDrG; Founder/CEO of Dope A$ Women (D.A.W.) Entertainment; Adjunct Graduate School Professor; Founder and Host of Herspiration Happy Hour Podcast; Host of Un@pologetic w/ DrG IGTV/Vlog Series; Editor/Contributing Writer for We Empower (WE) and Hustle & Soul Magazine, and contributing writer for Medium, Vocal Media, African Americans On the Move Book Club (AAMBC), and Creating Your Seat at the Table Magazine.
Dr. Pam is unapologetic about how she lives her life and does so to the fullest. An avid traveler and culture lover, she has visited 40 of the 50 United States, 1 U.S. Territory, and 31 countries to gain a holistic view of the world we live in. While she loves books, live music, red wine, and trying different foods; nothing quite compares to seeing the world. Her travels have shaped her views and given context to self-expression, self-acceptance, colorism, racism, and stereotyping. She is a savvy, busy, boss lady looking to change the narrative of how black women are perceived.
Dr. Pam’s 20+ year career spans from being a Family Advocacy Program Educator for the Department of the Army, a Management/Budget Analyst for the Office of Training and Professional Development for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives; a Senior Budget Analyst for the Department of Defense, Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense; a Supervisory Budget Officer for the Department of State; and Agency Budget Officer for the Merit Systems Protection Board. She served as a civil servant for the Federal Government for over 14 years before resigning on November 7, 2020.
She is a retired United States Army Veteran and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Leo University; a Master’s in Health Service Administration from Central Michigan University; and a Doctorate in Management with a concentration in Organizational Development and Change from Colorado Technical University.
